We're seeking medical officers at grade UD10-UD12 with about 5 years of experience, a strong team spirit, and a thirst for new knowledge. Post-grad qualifications and research experience are a definite plus!

I-Nation Global Summit 2025 in Conjunction with NICE 2025
Date: 6–9 October 2025

MaHTAS officers represented the Ministry of Health at the event organised by MRANTI and MOSTI at the World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The event gathered innovators, researchers, and policymakers to explore R&D, commercialisation, and funding strategies aligned with the 13th Malaysia Plan. Discussions focused on AI, HealthTech, and Life Sciences, highlighting how collaboration and innovation can drive a more sustainable healthcare system in Malaysia.

TACHTEE Meeting 2/2025

Date: 1 October 2025

MaHTAS held its second Technical Advisory Committee on Health Technologies Economic Evaluation (TACHTEE) meeting of 2025, chaired by Dr. Maznah Dahlui. The session welcomed Dr. Syaqirah Akmal as the new Deputy Director of MaHTAS and discussed the economic evaluation of TB-LAM for high-risk TB patients. Members also reviewed key studies on Full Paying Patient services and health inequality, reaffirming MaHTAS’ commitment to evidence-based, equitable healthcare decisions.

ISPOR Asia Pacific HTA Roundtable

Date: 28 September 2025

MaHTAS participated in the ISPOR Asia Pacific HTA Roundtable alongside regional HTA leaders. Represented by Dr. Izzuna Ghazali and Dr. Roza Sarimin, Malaysia contributed to discussions on HTA’s role in pricing negotiations, efficiency, and collaboration. Delegates also joined the ISPOR RWE Summit 2025, which highlighted innovative solutions to healthcare challenges in the region.
